The mission ofthe Faculty of Business Management is by providing university education, to contribute to development ofstu-dents’harmonic personality, knowledge, wisdom, wellbeing and creativity in human, also by developing knowledge based on creative scientific research in the fields of business economics and management to contribute to enhancement of knowledge in the society.

The Faculty of Business Management has five departments, by their research and teaching capacities providing for two bachelor programs and six masters’ programs, one bachelor program and one masters’ program in English, as well as the doctoral studies, both in Slovak and English.

Faculty Highlights

The Faculty of Business Management is accredited for providing university study programs at all levels of university studies as well as the habilitation and inauguration competence. Raising managers and entrepreneurs the faculty has been continuously the leader in rankings oriented to graduates’ employability. In the field of research the faculty has been involved as the contractor, coordinator and/or participant in scientific research projects in international and local grant schemes, with publishing outputs of remarkable credibility.

International Study Program

The Faculty of Business Management has accredited international programs in English, the Business Economics and Management at Bachelor’s level and General Management at Masters’ level of university studies, runs three double degree programs in Strasbourg (France), Prague (CZ) and Ningbo (China). The Faculty sends annually more than 60 students for studies abroad and supports up to 20 teaching and training mobilities of teacher and researchers. The Faculty holds membership in valuable international research networks and consortiums.


Bratislava is located on the Danube River nearby Vienna, the international transportation hub, which makes is very convenient to access. Bratislava is attractive not only for its location in the heart of Europe, but also for being the centrum of establishment of majority of universities, remarkable corporations and companies, significant players at the markets in general. It provides facilities for rich cultural and social life, and exploring historical roots of emerging central Europe. Bratislava has recently become attractive for visitors due to its boost in the development of social and trade facilities and sport events.
